About Jessica

I am a registered social worker with over 15 years of experiencing working with individuals and families during their darkest times. Through a combination of warmth, compassion, and specialized training in many areas, I help move clients from “I’m stuck and unhappy” to “I have confidence and feel joy.” Based in Sarnia-Lambton. My services are offered virtually, available across Ontario.

  • I have specialized in maternal mental health for over 7 years, supporting clients with anxiety and depression in both pregnancy or postpartum, infertility challenges, pregnancy loss, birth trauma, and postpartum adjustment.

  • Nothing shines a light on our unhealed wounds, and the areas in which we need to grow, quite like parenting. Then there’s our children. From tantrums, to childhood wounds, sex after kids, and in-laws, I help you work through all the challenges that parenting brings up

  • I have specialized training and experience working with individuals going through separations and divorce. Helping you navigate this difficult time in a way that protects your wellbeing, and the wellbeing of your children if you have them, is a passion of mine.

  • Sometimes life throws us curve balls we’re not expecting. If you’re someone who on the outside, appears to have it together, but on the inside, you’re deeply unhappy, I am here to help.

  • Our society does not do a good job of teaching us how to live with grief. A focus on the positive leaves us feeling isolated while at the same time overwhelmed with the grief we’re trying to figure out how to live with. I am here to hold space for your grief, however it’s showing up for you right now, and to help you find a way to navigate through it.

My Areas of Focus

Try a 15 minute free consult

Research shows the ‘fit’ between therapist and client is the most important indicator of whether therapy will be helpful. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation so you can decide whether you want to take the next step

I acknowledge that the land on which I practice today is the traditional territory of the Ojibwe, Potawatomi, and Odawa peoples, known collectively as the Three Fires Confederacy. This region is part of the ancestral and treaty lands of the Chippewas of Sarnia, now recognized as the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, who continue to live, work, and steward these lands.

I recognize and deeply respect the enduring relationship that Indigenous peoples have with this land, and commit to learning from their histories, cultures, and contributions as we move toward reconciliation and a more just future.

I am committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful space for Two-Spirit, Lesbian, and Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Queer people.
